A Celebration of Teaching and Writing

Thank you for your interest in attending the Tenth Annual SCCC Creative Writing Festival: A Celebration of Teaching and Writing.

The festival is a five-day event from April 23, 2018 to April 27, 2018.

Workshops, panel discussions, and/or readings will scheduled from Monday through Thursday on the campuses of SCCC during the festival week. Friday, the last day of the festival, will feature an all-day undergraduate conference full of workshops, panel discussions, readings, our complimentary luncheon with keynote speaker, and the ceremony for our Creative Writing Awards for College Writers.

We want to make the registration process as easy as possible. You do not need to register for the events held Monday-Thursday at the college -- these events are free and open to the public, and there will be sign-in sheets to track attendance at each of these events. If you are interested in attending the conference on Friday, you must pay the appropriate pre-registration fee before April 1, 2018, or the appropriate registration fee anytime after April 1, 2017 or on the day of the event.

All undergraduates are allowed to attend the Conference Day events for free, as are SCCC Administration, Faculty, or Staff, but everyone will need to register to guarantee him/herself a seat at the luncheon.

If you have any questions about registration, please call the Ammerman English Department at 1-631-451-4159.

Held annually on the Michael J. Grant, Ammerman, and Eastern Campuses of Suffolk County Community College (www.sunysuffolk.edu) in Suffolk County, NY
