A Celebration of Teaching and Writing

The SCCC Creative Writing Festival is a five-day event held on the three campuses of Suffolk County Community College in April of every year. The festival brings together professional writers as well as teachers and students of creative writing from SCCC, other colleges, and universities across our area for a celebration of creative writing.

Festival activities include:

• Readings by Critically Acclaimed Authors

• Lecture / Panel Sessions

• Creative Writing Workshops

• The SCCC Creative Writing Awards for College Writers

This event is sponsored in part by the Suffolk County Community College Office of Campus Activities and Student Leadership Development and by the SCC Association.
